Web Site
Please check the NEWS page on the course web site frequently: at least twice a week during the term.  The
NEWS page will alert you to any updates that have been made elsewhere on the course web site.  Project guidelines, reading assignments, due dates, and supplementary resources will all be posted online.

Communications & Participation

While working on any course project, please don't hesitate to send me questions and/or drafts via e-mail.  Please send attachments in Word or WordPerfect format.  I'll be encouraging you (at times requiring you) to share your drafts not only with me but with friends and family members.

Grading

Final grades will be determined according to the following scale:
project #1: 10%
projects #2, #3, and #4 (or #5): 20% each
project #6: 30%
Set a realistic timetable for yourself so that
everything doesn't pile up (on you or on me) at the end: July 22 (the deadline for submitting drafts) and July 28 (the deadline for submitting all completed projects).

All work should be turned in on time. A late assignment will be docked one letter grade per day. An assignment that is not turned in at all will receive a grade of 0 (the equivalent of a double-F on the grade scale).

Ethics

In composing reports and essays, you should rely solely on approved resources.  Reliance on uncredited secondary sources of any kind (whether direct or indirect) will be treated as plagiarism and a violation of the Armstrong Atlantic Honor Code.

Final Reminder
If you're having problems, please get in touch with me.
