MINUTES   updated 10 May 2004

Class minutes are presented below in reverse chronological order.  (Schedule is posted directly below this box.)  Although I'll make an effort to remove or to correct information that is simply wrong, for the most part minutes are presented here as they have been delivered to me (sometimes with an unavoidable loss of format).

Minutes should follow the guidelines recommended on pages 476-478 of Technical Communications, 7e.  (See sample minutes for particularly effective use of bold headings and site links.)  After you and your partner have revised and edited your copy of the
minutes, please e-mail them to me (
if at all possible, within 48 hours of the class meeting) BOTH as an attachment AND as a copy-and-paste version within your e-mail message.

Remember:
(1) use parallel form;
(2) use appropriate headings and subheadings;
(3) revise, edit, and proofread;
(4) don't list assignments for the next day (which, in any case, are always listed on the ASSIGNMENTS page).
