Requirements for the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) include areas A through F of the core
curriculum, 18 semester hours of General Studies courses in the arts and sciences, 15-18 hours
in an approved area of concentration, and 24-27 hours of electives.  A minimum of 39 credit hours
must be at the 3000-level or above.  Any minor approved by the University System of
Georgia may serve as an area of concentration in AASU's Bachelor of General Studies
degree program.
