ARCHIVED 16 February 2002

During AASU's Self-Study (2000-2002), this web site served as a resource and a meeting place for members of the Off-Campus and Distance Learning Committee.  Key documents and links related to AASU's off-campus and distance learning efforts are still maintained at this site.

--Focus group sessions with students attending AASU classes at the Brunswick Center and at the Liberty Center have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 6.  Making the trip will be Amelia Bunch, Keith Martin, Elliot Palefsky, Dick Nordquist, & Camille Stern.  We hope to meet up with Dr. Schollaert in Brunswick and Dr. Schuberth in Hinesville.

--Results of the student surveys have been distributed to members of the OCDL committee.

--Steering Committee minutes for meetings from Nov. 2000 - February 2001 have been posted.

--The Valdosta State University Self-Study Report is now online.  The narrative format of the Valdosta report has been adopted by AASU.   (Valdosta's Self-Study home page is here.)

--AASU's self-study report will follow the guidelines of the APA style manual (
Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 4th ed., 1994).  Please note that the 4th edition has been updated online: Electronic Reference Formats Recommended by the American Psychological Association (APA Journal).  For quick reference purposes, Dr. William Borst of Troy State University has posted online an excellent short "APA Writing Style Guide."
