International
Students
Faculty and staff in the Office of Liberal Studies provide
academic advisement for many of Armstrong's international
students. Special advisement and registration sessions for
international students are conducted a few days before the
start of the fall semester. Afterwards, students are
encouraged to meet individually with an advisor to review
their academic progress and discuss their educational
goals. (Visit the Liberal Studies Advisement page for
additional information.)
Academic services for international students are
coordinated by the Office of International
Support Services
(OISS), located on the ground floor (room 109) of Gamble Hall.
The office is directed by Dr. James Anderson,
and extensive
information about admissions
procedures, academic life
at AASU, and online resources
for international students
can be found at the OISS web site.
International students may also be eligible for AASU's
Honors Program; you may contact the
director, Dr. Mark
Finlay, for details.
Finally, here are some additional resources that
may be of interest to international students attending
